STAR JONES WAS SAD
THE FACTS
In an interview with Essence magazine, Star Jones discussed sadness over recent personal and professional losses.
THE SPIN
Star Jones says she’s back. I guess the only follow-up is to ask back from what exactly? Maybe she means back to her old tricks, which includes getting personal to boost her professional profile. If so, no wonder she’s talking about her time on The View.
She told Essence that “those girls were hateful” when it came time from her departure back in 2006. She also touches on “falling into a depression” after losing her self-titled Court TV show last year. She was also sad over her ongoing dispute with Barbara Walters (Star says, “Barbara set me up!”), as well as her divorce from Al Reynolds.
When asked about her ex-husbands infamous YouTube videos where he claims he still loves her, Star said: “I’m not in love with him.”
But she noted, “I want to fall in love again. I’m ready to love 24/7. I want happiness.”
Now, if you’re sitting here wondering why is she rehashing all of this old stuff, she also mentioned that she’s in talks for a non-scripted series. It all makes sense now, doesn’t it?
