Chilli disputed Destiny’s Child’s claims of being the best-selling female group of all time in an interview with Essence. 

THE SPIN
Here’s what Chilli had to say on the notion that Destiny’s Child has outsold TLC: “Everyone always credits Destiny’s Child as the biggest-selling female group, but it’s just not true. You can’t count album sales for each solo project collectively and come up with numbers. I love Destiny’s Child, but thank you.”

The debate over who sold more has always been a hotly contested issue among the stans online, but with both groups being over, you would think Chilli would finally let it go.

Although Destiny’s Child’s sales figures can fluctuate from 50 million to a billion gagillion in a given night, here’s a thought: Haven’t the Dixie Chicks and Spice Girls sold more than both?

Chilli talks to Essence and responds to the rumor that she caused the divorce of CNN anchor, T.J. Holmes. 

THE SPIN
If you don’t know who T.J. Holmes is, you don’t watch the news. Or you watch FOX News, which is the same difference. Chilli certainly knows him as the two briefly dated some time ago. However, one of the best cable news anchors out there is a recent divorce, which had people whispering that Chilli is a homewrecker.

Not so, says Chilli who told Essence: “…let’s clear this up right now. T.J. Holmes was divorced and had been divorced. It wasn’t a situation where he was going through a divorce and still married. I would never date a man that is legally separated or tied to another woman. We dated, but it was brief. I’m a godly person and try to do all the things that God wants me to do. I have a conscience; I could never do that. Besides, I want to get married and present a healthy wonderful relationship for myself and my 11-year-old son.”

I’m beginning to hate Flavor Flav for starting this. The loser of Flavor of Love got a spin-off, then the losers from her show got their own a spin-off, and then Ray-J (who has been called a loser) leaked word that he is now trying to take Flavor Flav’s place. I guess Chilli’s trying to take New York’s spot now?

No idea is original, but some are played the hell out.
