TERRENCE HOWARD SUED

THE FACTS
The New York Post reports that Tex Allen claims Terrence Howard punched him repeatedly in the face while rehearing for last year’s Broadway musical, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.”

THE SPIN
Debbie Allen’s son wants $5 million for Terrence messing up his lip. I can only imagine what he would ask for had he messed up his nose.

I only have one question: Why is it that people wait for a year or two to sue someone about something like this? It’s not as if he routinely beat him for a six-month period, so why the wait?

Better yet, why didn’t Debbie Allen do a kick to Terrence’s mouth for beating her son down? OK, that’s two questions, but I know I’m not the only one wondering why she and Phylicia didn’t jump him.
