THE FACTS
The Associated Press reports that an Arizona judge has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of DMX following his failure to appear in court. 

THE SPIN
DMX was supposed to appear in court to face charges of drug possession, identity theft, and animal cruelty. But like most dependable drug addicts, DMX didn’t bother showing up in court. Now a judge wants him arrested and has raised his bond to $120,000 cash.

Here’s a thought: If DMX is known to skip out on court why would you allow him to be released from jail? Hopefully, the Phoenix judge that wants DMX locked up will learn from his mistakes.

So where is DMX? I would guess somewhere snuggled up with a crackpipe. His attorney however claims DMX is at an undisclosed rehab facility.

I doubt he knows where DMX is either.

Billboard reports that DMX missed a scheduled court date due to being hospitalized for “fear of stroke.” 

THE SPIN
A day before he was set to make his occasional appearance at another court room, DMX was admitted to a hospital in Florida according to his lawyer Bradford Cohen.

Cohen wouldn’t confirm reports that the hospital stint was due to fears of the fledging rapper suffering a stroke, but he did make some general comments. He told Billboard.com: “It was serious enough for him to be brought and taken into a treatment facility. He spent the night there last night, and he will probably spend tonight there as well. I don’t think it’s going to be an ongoing thing or a life-threatening situation. He’s going to be alright.”

DMX is 37-years-old and people fear he’s about to have a stroke. Am I missing something about this not being a life-threatening situation or does DMX’s lawyer dual as his fellow rock chaser and blunt roller?
