50 Cent says after the release of his upcoming album, Before I Self-Destruct, he wants to sit back and focus on creating a ‘masterpiece.’

You know an album is coming when 50 starts running off at the mouth every hour on the hour. This time 50 says after the release of his next album, he’ll throw out a greatest hits collection to complete his deal with Interscope. Then he will be a free agent…and is planning to use that time before he scores a new deal to craft a “masterpiece” like his co-horts.
Contact Music quotes the budding mogul and eternal babbler saying, “The luxury that Eminem and Dr. Dre have now, I’ll soon have. I’ll only be putting out music when I have a masterpiece ready. But those guys are ready to put out their masterpieces very soon. Eminem’s album is going to blow people away… Like him, I’ll only be coming back when people miss me.”
In the attention-deficit disorder generation I’m a part of, if I were 50 I wouldn’t hold out too long. People barely care about him now.
