EL DEBARGE ARRESTED AGAIN

TMZ reports that El Debarge was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

A few years ago, I met someone that lived near Mama Debarge. He told me El stayed in the basement. I laughed at him, thinking there’s no way he’s living in the basement. Then he reminded me that Debarge was strung out and broke. It’s been a long time since “Rhythm of the Night,” so he probably is sleeping next to someone’s boiler.
Hopefully, the next time Uncle El steps foot in a basement, a sea of curly-haired lightskinned kinfolk will be there ready to stage an intervention.
They’ll have to wait two years, though. El DeBarge was sentenced to two years in state prison — starting right now. TMZ confirms that authorities are currently taking him to California State Prison in Lancaster where he will immediately begin his sentence.
At least we still have Chico, oh wait–do we?
